JOB TITLE:Field Social Worker in Worchester
REPORTS TO:Managing Director
RESPONSIBLE FOR:All home Staff and residents

An exciting opportunity for a Field Social Worker has arisen at a Family Assessment Centre in Malvern, Worchester.
Job details: My client wishes to appoint a Field Social Worker to initially to cover the maternity leave of their current Social Worker, however the Family Assessment is an area which they intend to grow and they are in the process of locating properties within a 40 mile radius of the home with the intention of registering another provision.
You would be expected to work for three days a week for a nine month period.

The successful candidate would: 
•Attend court appearances
•Conduct sessions addressing child protection issues with families
•Lead week 5 and week 10 meetings
•Read all court reports and summarise
•Make decisions regarding placements
•Have experience in supervising child protection
•Have experience in supervising a team who are devising reports for court.

We are seeking an individual who has:
Field social work experience or child protection experience in a family assessment centre
A minimum of 2 years experience of working with Children and Families.
Full driving license.

Salary – £40-45K pro-rata
 

Salary: £45000
